Pathwater Logo / Design Changes / Timeline / History

This page talks about the “logo” and designs of Pathwater bottles – and a “timeline” that I have made of when changes happen.  I made this page based a lot on my personal collection to be used to help “date” a bottle.  All dates on this page are approximations.

LOGO 0

January 2015 – February 2017  (Logo 0) = These bottles still have the “Refill it” name on the bottle.  I personally do NOT have any of these bottles in my collection. (as of July 2026)

Note:  In my list, some bottles are listed as “Logo 0” – which I also put other bottles which do not fit into the other categories, so see note on those bottles to see why I listed it as “Logo 0”

LOGO 1

March 2017 – August 2019 (Logo 1) = This would be Pathwaters “1st Redesign & Rebrand”.  You will find the Arrow Logo, with “Pathwater” written inside of the arrow.

This is also the time they changed to plastic safe caps, but occasionally newer bottles also take advantage of metal caps. The bottom of the bottle is Blue.

LOGO 2

September 2019 – March 2020 (Logo 2) = “Redesign Phase 1” is what Pathwater called this change.

Arrow Logo with “Pathwater” written inside stays the same. The bottom is no longer Blue

LOGO 3

March 2020 – February 2021 (Logo 3) = “Redesign Launch 2nd Quarter” is what Pathwater called this change. Arrow Logo still, but now “Pathwater” is written BELOW the arrow logo

LOGO 4

February 2021 – April 2021 (Logo 4) = For a very short time, it looks like the removed “Pathwater” from below the arrow logo, but has not replaced it yet.

LOGO 5

April 2021 – October 2021 (Logo 5)

Same Arrow logo, but now “PATH” is below logo. All bottles up to and including this logo, in the small print still says “Distributed by Refill It, Inc.”

LOGO 6

October 2021 – April 2022 (Logo 6)

he front with the Arrow logo and “PATH” below the arrow is the same as in the “logo 5” version. The change is in the small print, where now it says “Distributed by Pathwater Inc.”

LOGO 7

April 2022 – April 2023 (Logo 7)

The new Water Drop logo is introduced.  Below the Water Drop logo is still “PATH” with a TM (Trademark)

LOGO 8

April 2023 – September 2023 (Logo 8)

Still has the Water Drop Logo.

Now the PATH below the logo includes a ® (Registered) next to the name. All (still) bottles up to this point include the normal Recycling information, which only has OR 10₵

LOGO 9

September 2023 – Current (as of July 2026) (Logo 9)

Still has the Water Drop Logo, with PATH under the water drop – and still includes a ® (Registered) next to the name.

In the Recycling information, it has now moved CT to the 10₵ refund along with OR • NOTE:  Some newer bottles, like the Made in the USA 2026 bottles have the old Logo 8, WITHOUT CT in the 10₵ refund area.  I do not know why.

Expiration / Best By / Manufactured Date Information:

(aprox) 2019 – 2023 = Expiration / Best By is 2 years from the date bottled.

(aprox) 2024-2025 = Started to list MFG (Manufactured) date on bottles.

(aprox) 2026 = Expiration / Best By date is back, but now 3 years from the date bottled.

Some quick notes:

• For some reason, the Sparkling bottles have a totally different list of Recycling information in it’s small print.  I do not know why this is.

• Some newer bottles (Like the Made in USA 2026 bottles, include the LOGO 8, without the CT in the 10 cent recycling information.  I am not sure if it because they designed some bottles way in advance, or if someone at Pathwater picked an old template when designing them.

• All the information on this page is information I compiled from looking at bottles in my own collection.  Dates are “approximated”.  If you have additional information that you think would be helpful here, please feel free to share.
